Thirty Weeks
This model remained on the job throughout her first pregnancy. After the baby was born, she would bring him in sometimes for mother/child portraiture sessions.
This picture is a bit too graphic and direct (I would say honest) for some: The model hides nothing, and she is perfectly content to share with us a time when many women attempt to be as inconspicuous as possible. It seems almost improper to look at her, but she had no objections.
The style is very linear, influenced here and there by Matisse and Al Hirschfeld. The image prints on archival watercolor paper. Expect delivery within nine months.
Just kidding.
