Rough Lady
The title refers to the painting style, not to the lady herself.
All the same, Tullee (you’ve seen her here before) is not the sort of person with whom I would willingly tangle. Even so, I do have a gripe against the lady: If you were a middle-aged man with a bald spot, I think you’d understand. What kind of cruel world is this, when hair is distributed so unequally?
Well, back to the picture. This one was painted very quickly and crudely, to capture the animal energy of my most theatrical model. Even in a passive pose, she radiates passion.
