The Blue Vase
Here's another piece featuring (parts of) the lovely Ruby, with whom I've been working almost exclusively. Ruby's complexion is pink and healthful, not gray and cadaverous; but I wanted an almost exclusively blue palette.
I am not certain why I found the vase so interesting, but I think it may be the fact that its graceful contours roughly parallel those of the lady's lower half.
