Andromeda
This is not a true illustration of the ancient Greek myth of Andromeda; still, it contains so many elements of the myth that I've entitled it as such.
Andromeda was the daughter of King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia. For reasons too silly to discuss, King Cepheus was obliged to surrender his daughter to Cetus, the sea monster. Andromeda was carried to the seashore and chained to a column of stone. There she awaited the monster until being rescued by Perseus. Yes, this will be on the test.
My model Cristi was willing to remain at her post without chains, which is why you don't see them. Perseus never showed up, but fortunately neither did Cetus.
