A Picture Of No Significance
Late in his life, Matisse became so crippled with arthritis that he could no longer hold a brush. Abandoning art was of course unthinkable, so he began to cut out scraps of colored paper and assemble them into compositions. These are his simplest works, and (in the positive sense of the term) his most childlike.
This is a digital piece, but it was inspired by the great man's collages. Here, I have no wish to impress anybody with my technical mastery. Nor have I anything to say.
It's just for fun.
